SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - It’s hard to believe that we’re less than two weeks out from the first college basketball regular season games, but it’s coming up — and the Notre Dame men are looking pretty good.

The Irish enter this season with some notable returning production, including Penn High School alum and Preseason All-ACC First Team guard Markus Burton . He’s joined alongside Braeden Shrewsberry and Kebba Njie as more players from last year’s squad.

“I feel blessed, first and foremost. I feel excited. I’m excited to get out there and play,” Burton said. “I’m just excited to get out and play in front of the fans and show Notre Dame basketball is up and coming and we’re ready to compete.”
