Brian Burns’ two-sack performance Sunday wasn’t just overshadowed by the Giants’ last-second loss to the Broncos. His postgame outburst heading to the locker room caught more attention for seemingly being mad about the defensive play calls on the final drive.
Burns sent a tweet Tuesday saying he wasn’t mad at the decision to drop eight players in coverage on the Broncos’ first play of that drive. On Wednesday, the linebacker and team captain elaborated on why he was upset.
