CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (KKTV) - A Castle Rock woman was found guilty of voter fraud after casting ballots for her dead ex-husband and son in the 2022 General Election, according to the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
The Attorney’s Office said 61-year-old Elizabeth Ann Davis was convicted on two counts of forgery and one count of “personating an elector” on Wednesday.
According to officials, she has a criminal record that includes prior convictions for forgery, theft, drug offenses and prostitution in Florida and/or Colorado.
“There are layers of security built into the election process here in Colorado, and this case shows they are working,” Douglas County Clerk and Recorder Sheri Davis said. “We appreciate having a District Attorney’s office that takes attempted voter fraud seri
