VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) - A 76-year-old Portland woman is dead after a three-car crash on an Interstate 205 onramp in Vancouver on Wednesday, according to police.
Just before noon, officers with the Washington State Patrol responded to the crash on the Eastbound Mill Plain Boulevard onramp onto I-205 South.
According to WSP, the crash happened when Geraldine Bash was driving a Nissan Versa and suffered a “medical emergency” on the freeway onramp.
Her car then crashed into a Land Rover and a box truck also on the onramp, causing the two other vehicles to crash, blocking the roadway.
Bash was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died.
No one else was hurt, WSP said.
