STINNETT, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — West Texas High senior quarterback Cayde Winters has earned Player of the Week after leading the Comanches to a 50-49 victory over a ranked district opponent, Panhandle.

Winters was responsible for a seven-touchdown performance, applying constant pressure to the defense on the ground with 41 carries totaling 369 rushing yards. He also converted on every two-point conversion attempt, including the one that sealed the game.

His performance against the number 3-ranked Panthers helped West Texas High stay unbeaten on the season while showcasing the team’s trademark toughness.
