LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A suspect was arrested after a shot was fired in Shively, according to police.

In a statement, the Shively Police Department says that officers responded to a call at around 5:00 p.m. of an active aggressor in the 3400 block of Dixie Highway, on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

At the scene, officers determined that there was no active aggressor and that a single shot had been fired.

No one was reported to be injured.

A suspect was located and taken into custody shortly after the incident.

SPD says that this was not a random act and that the individuals involved knew each other.

No suspect information has been released at this time.
