WiiM has entered the smart speaker market with the launch of the WiiM Sound, which aims to compete with Sonos and Apple’s HomePod.
The standout feature is AIRoomFit, WiiM’s automatic room correction system, which measures the acoustics of a room and optimises the sound accordingly. Users can also customise audio via a 10-band EQ or choose from 24 preset sound profiles.
The speaker, which debuted at the 2025 High-End Munich show, supports high-resolution audio streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz and connects via Wi-Fi 6E, Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.3. For wired sources, it includes a 3.5mm analog input.
A 1.8-inch circular touchscreen on the front displays album artwork, track info, EQ settings and time, while the top panel provides touch controls for playback and volume.
