Police remain searching for a Melbourne driver, as fresh vision shows the moment she bounced a young mother off her bonnet before fleeing the scene.
Sally Lusted, 48, was left with "life-changing” injuries when she was struck at an intersection in Mitcham, east of Melbourne, about midday on September 29.
CCTV footage captured a sedan ploughing into Ms Lusted, sending her airborne about a metre down the road.
The female driver briefly left her vehicle to check on the young mother who was struggling to return to her feet.
The driver, believed to be in her late-60s or early-70s, told Ms Lusted she left her phone at home and needed to retrieve it to call an ambulance, police said.
However, the driver never returned nor called emergency services.
