BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- CSUB and two well known breweries in Bakersfield are ready to release a hopeful fan favorite beer at upcoming sporting events.

The university has named it's official beer 'Runners Gold. The lager was created with the help of Lengthwise Brewing and Temblor Brewing.

Officials said the beer will be available beginning Oct. 28 in the Icardo Center, at home basketball, volleyball and wrestling contests.

All proceeds from these drinks will go towards the athletic department.

The beer will be on tap at Temblor on Buck Owens Boulevard and the Lengthwise location on Ming Avenue, according to officials.
