Indiana Pacers rookie guard Kam Jones issued an apology Tuesday after he was arrested following a brief chase near Indianapolis.

Police said a trooper tried to pull Jones over for alleged erratic driving, but he didn’t stop and led them on a brief chase that ended near Fountain Square in Indianapolis.
According to WTHR, Jones addressed the media on Tuesday and called the incident a “mistake that I've learned from.”
Jones is facing preliminary charges of reckless driving and resisting law enforcement. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will make the decision of whether to formally charge Jones.
