DAVENPORT, Iowa and ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - A traffic alert for drivers near the Centennial Bridge.

As of 8:39 p.m., KWQC could see a police, fire and medical presence gathered on the center of the Centennial Bridge.

On cameras KWQC could see that drivers were not allowed to drive across the bridge from either side of the river.

Drivers in the area should seek an alternate route.

KWQC TV6 has reached out to the Davenport Police Department and the Rock Island Police Department for more information on this incident.
