HARTFORD, CT. (WFSB) - The Hartford Wolf Pack won their first game of the season against the Springfield Thunderbirds Wednesday evening by a score of 3-0.
They got the scoring started in the second period by way of Bryce McConnell-Barker. That gave the Wolf Pack a 1-0 lead.
They added on to their lead with 11 minutes left in the third period when Carey Terrance scored his first professional goal.
The Wolf Pack added some insurance late in the game with a goal by Adam Sykora to put the nail in the coffin and send the Thunderbirds out of Hartford with a loss.
With the victory, goalie Dylan Garand notched the 50th win of his career.
Their next game is against the Bridgeport Islanders at PeoplesBank Arena on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
