BRISTOL, CT. (WFSB) - Bristol police are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred Wednesday evening at St. Joseph School.

At around 6:48 p.m., a man in a dark-colored SUV called a 9-year-old girl’s name several times and told her to come to him while she was with teachers. The staff intervened, and the man sped off.

The suspect is described as a tan-skinned male, possibly Black or Hispanic, and between 20 and 30 years old with dark curly hair.

The child was unharmed. Her family said that they do not recognize the man or the vehicle, according to police.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle.
