A late surge prevented the Colorado Buffaloes volleyball team from experiencing what would have been a discouraging defeat.

Instead, the 24th-ranked Buffs rallied late to avoid an upset and pick up a Big 12 road win at Texas Tech, defeating the Red Raiders 25-18, 21-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-12 in CU’s first visit to Lubbock since the program’s final season in the previous stint in the Big 12 in 2010.
