McLean Agrette and Wesley Royston also scored for Erie (4-8-1) with Charlie Burns stopping 28 shots in the Otters' net for the win at GFL Memorial Gardens.

Hammond has scored seven goals in nine games to start the season.

Noah Laus and Jordan Charron countered for the Greyhounds (8-6-0). Goaltender Miller Landon had 26 saves in the loss.

Charron, a Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick, scored his OHL-leading 11th goal of the season.
