Wednesday night, safety was back in the minds of many folks, as some say they hope with the Memphis Safe Task Force here in town. Perception of how nightlife in downtown Memphis may change.

The excitement could not be contained on Wednesday as thousands swarmed the FedEx Forum for the opening night of the Memphis Grizzlies' first home game.

"It is so peaceful and its just a whole lot of people down here, we just enjoying life and it just feels so free," said one fan.
