Two teenage boys are in hospital with stab wounds following an alleged brawl involving a screwdriver and possibly a machete at the Broadmeadows Railway Station in Melbourne's north on Wednesday.
Police said there were multiple calls to triple-0 after an altercation broke out between two groups just after 3pm.
Officers attended and found two 17-year-old boys with stab wounds.
They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, with one of the boys undergoing surgery today.
A screwdriver was found at the station that police alleged was used to stab one of the victims.
A police spokesperson said witnesses also described seeing other weapons, including a machete, but nothing else was found at the scene.
Detectives went to the nearby Glenroy Railway Station where they arrested
