DALLAS — Hockey fans in Dallas have long shouted "Stars!" in unison during the national anthem, and now, basketball fans are bringing their own chant to the table.

Ahead of Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg's NBA debut, a popular fan account for the team cooked up an idea for fans to shout "Flagg!" during the anthem.

Flagg is easily one of the most anticipated rookies in the 2026 class. The Mavericks selected the Duke prospect with the first pick in the draft for his versatile offensive skillset. Despite sporting a 6'9" frame, Flagg handles the ball like a point guard.
