CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Tensions ran high at the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board meeting Tuesday night as members debated a resolution opposing a state immigration bill.

The bill, introduced by State Representative William Lamberth (R-Portland), would prevent undocumented students from receiving state or federal funds for college.

During the public comment part of Tuesday’s school board meeting, several people spoke about the immigration bill issue.
