SEATTLE — Detectives are searching for connections in a series of reported carjackings across South Seattle this month.
The string of incidents began with an attempted carjacking in Columbia City, followed by another in Rainier Valley, where a couple was held at gunpoint. Then on Friday, two more armed carjackings were reported within minutes from each other, all in South Seattle.
Earlier this month, a Seattle mother described her terrifying encounter in broad daylight.
“I just kind of had tunnel vision and saw it, and was like, ‘Oh my God,’ and just realized I had to get out of there,” she said.
She told KING 5 that a group of young men in black hoodies jumped out of a red Dodge Caravan and ambushed her at a stoplight. Thankfully her doors were locked, and they couldn't get in. She
