PORTLAND (ABC4 Sports) - Real Salt Lake saw its 2025 season come to an end Wednesday night in Portland with a 3-1 loss to the Timbers in the MLS Western Conference play-in game.

Felipe Mora scored twice in the first half to give Portland a 2-0 lead. On both of his goals, RSL goalkeeper Rafael Cabral made initial stops, but Mora was right there for the rebounds.

Justen Glad brought one back with his first career playoff goal, a header off a pass from Diogo Goncalves to cut the deficit to 2-1 at the half.

But the Timbers put the game away in the 82nd minute on a goal from Kamal Miller for the 3-1 final.

RSL generated plenty of scoring chances, getting off 23 shots and putting seven on frame. But Portland goalkeeper James Pantemis made six saves to earn the victory.
