SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A Salt Lake County couple has taken on the responsibility to help the community’s children sleep better. With their new chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, they are bringing the community together to build beds.
Laura Potts and her husband Andrew Heaton just opened the Salt Lake County chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The non-profit has been around for a while, and their goal is simple: no kids sleep on the floor.
Laura said, “The problem is not going away on its own. Somebody has to do it. We are having a great time with amazing volunteers are ready to help us. So why not us!"
Laura and Andrew lead and organize the builds, but they need donations and volunteers from the community. ABC4 met up with the group for a Saturday build. Volunteers from the Radiology
