LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Nevada Conservation League held a rally on Wednesday, during which they demanded accountability and transparency ahead of the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada general consumer session regarding NV Energy's recently approved daily demand charge.
The PUCN is required to hold a general consumer session every year, and held the meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
The recently approved demand charge, which will not change bills until April 2026, and will reflect the cost of delivering electricity for individual customers, according to NV Energy.
