LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Police took a suspect into custody after a crash Thursday morning near Tropicana Avenue and Wynn Road.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, "The owner of a vehicle was tracking their own stolen vehicle in that area. When officers began to look for the vehicle in that area, it fled and crashed into some landscaping and a couple of vehicles."

The crash was reported shortly after 5 a.m., and the suspect was arrested. There will be police activity in the area.
