I’ve witnessed many cases of animal neglect, but hoarding situations are among the most heartbreaking. Dozens of dogs are often trapped in cramped spaces with little food, comfort, or care.

This type of confinement leads to anxiety and confusion, which can quickly turn into aggression. When too many frightened animals are forced together, they sometimes lash out at each other in fear.

Owners responsible for these situations rarely seem to care about the animals’ wellbeing. Their concern ends once they no longer gain anything from keeping them.
