BRIGHAM CITY - A Logan Attorney, Dustin D. Ericson, was recently appointed to serve as a judge for the Box Elder County Justice Court and the Tremonton Justice Court.

Judge Erickson was appointed to the bench by the Box Elder County Judicial Nominating Commission in September to replace Judge Kevin Christensen who resigned in March.

The new judge is a native of Box Elder County and graduated from Utah State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, and minors in Political Science and Portuguese. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law in 2007.
