The Jharkhand Police Wednesday arrested five people, including a woman, for their alleged involvement in an extortion racket and in smuggling weapons into India from Pakistan using drones.

The group — which police said operated under the name Koyalanchal Shanti Sena (KSS) — was allegedly being run under the direction of Prince Khan, a Dhanbad-based gangster believed to be in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Speaking to The Indian Express , Ranchi City SP Paras Rana said Khan coordinated the supply of weapons from Pakistan through drone drops along the Punjab border near Moga.
