Two local food trucks failed health inspections this week because of concerns with roaches and raw food.
Cleveland’s Super Taqueria Matias food truck received a score of 69.
The report notes live roaches seen in the sink, and the person in charge was trying to handle the infestation on their own rather than calling a professional.
The inspector found two pounds of fried chicken left out on the fryer from the day before, along with the main line worker not using soap while washing their hands while prepping food.
Further inspection found wet containers stacked together, strong leaks from the sink, a dirty freezer, and a dirty wipe-down cloth not kept in its sanitizing bucket.
Cardboard and rags were also seen laid out underneath shelving in the cool, all below raw chicken.
