■ Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church this year awarded $160,000 to 20 non-profit organizations through its mission endowment fund. Since 2005, the church has awarded 21 series of grants totaling $2,462,000 to benefit regional, national, and global non-profits that share the goal of “Bringing Mission to Life.”

Regional grant recipients include Let’s Build Beds, the Otsego Food Pantry, Zion’s preschool, Love and Luggage, Black Swamp Young Life, Waterville Presbyterian Church, the Lucas County Isaiah 117 House, Mobile Meals of Toledo, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity’s 2025 Faith Build, and Toledo Streets Newspaper.
