It’s hard not to get excited about projects with Zev Feldman’s fingerprint on them.

This one is no exception.

The “Jazz Detective,” as he’s come to be known because of his dedication to digging up rare and forgotten archives, has taken on the ambition of forming his own label, Time Traveler Recordings.

Feldman has made this trio of important jazz albums from the 1970s the debut of his new label’s first set of releases, the Muse Master Edition Series.

It’s a run of masterpiece reissues from the historic Muse Records catalog.
