DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - Loras College will inaugurate its new president Friday.
The Catholic liberal arts college will celebrate Mike Doyle as its new president, the 27th over the college’s 186 years.
Doyle graduated from Loras in 1991 and returned to the college as president-elect in 2024.
He previously served as president of Steele Capital Management.
Doyle officially became president on June 1. He succeeds Jim Collins, who retired after two decades of leadership.
The day’s celebration includes a 10 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of St. Raphael, with the inauguration ceremony at 1 p.m. at the Lillis Athletic and Wellness Center on campus.
