PEOSTA, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is taking questions from the media Thursday morning.

Gov. Reynolds has spent the morning in Dubuque County and Peosta where she held a roundtable meeting with community members to discuss issues like property tax reform.

Reynolds held a similar meeting last week in central Iowa where she received feedback from Iowans ahead of next year’s legislative session.

KCRG-TV9 news partner, KCCI, reports Reynolds was asked about phasing out property taxes all together.

“I’d like to see that plan on paper,” Reynolds said. “That’s not something that’s going to happen overnight. But if they’ve got an idea to make that happen, you’ve got to pay for these services one way or the other.”
