DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - For years an old water tower has sat amongst the trees in the northern part of the city of Dubuque. And now it’s coming down.

On Thursday crews worked to bring down the pieces of the old water tower.

The city decommissioned the water tower at Eagle Point Park a few years ago.

People were out on Thursday watching crews work to bring down the pieces with heavy machinery. Some said they were sad to see it go.
