Recording a dip, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Mumbai has shown a gradual improvement from Wednesday, October 22. This was followed by the rainfall in the city on Tuesday evening, October 21. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI stood at 134, which falls in the 'moderate' category.
It further improved on Thursday morning, October 23, which showed a reading of 116, according to the Air Quality Early Warning System. This falls under the ‘moderate’ category.
The highest AQI was recorded at Bandra-Kurla Complex (186) followed by Mazgaon (173), Bandra East (172), Navy Nagar Colaba (171) and Worli (168).
