A family was out on the water in Cape Cod when their boat burst into flames, forcing them to jump in the water and swim to a nearby island where they took shelter in an old barn. Two days later, the son found the boat’s marine radio washed up on the beach and put out a mayday call, prompting the Coast Guard to airlift them to safety.
