At the age of 65 some people are winding down.
But Bryan Adams is just getting the next phase of his 50-year career going. You might say he can’t stop this thing he started.
And what a thing it’s been. Since he began fronting the Vancouver band Sweeney Todd during the mid-’70s, Adams has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and scored enduring hits such as “Summer of ’69,” “Lonely Nights,” “Run To You,” “Cuts Like a Knife,” “Heaven,” and the soundtrack smashes “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” from “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,” “All For Love” from “The Three Musketeers” and “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman” from “Don Juan DeMarco.” In total he’s logged 16 Top 20 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as composing music for “Pretty Woman: The Musical” on Broadway.
