Netflix has revealed a new limited series based on a highly praised stage production from showrunner Brian Watkins, which premiered at last year's Edinburgh Fringe festival.

Weather Girl features actress and Julliard graduate Julia McDermott reprising her role as Stacey, following her successful solo Fringe show that won the Popcorn Writing Award in Edinburgh.

The project is already generating significant buzz as the 'next' big Netflix Fringe adaptation, following the success of Baby Reindeer , created by Scottish actor and comedian Richard Gadd.
