The Foo Fighters have announced a brand new stadium tour for the summer of 2026, and the 12-city jaunt will include a stop in Chicago.

According to a press release from the band, the stadium tour will back brand new music from Dave Grohl and company, and will stop in Chicago on Saturday, August 8. The show will be held at Soldier Field, according to a press release.

The announcement also came with a brand new song entitled “Asking for a Friend,” which the band called a song that would “joyfully bludgeon (fans) into submission.”

Other venues on the 12-city tour include Ford Field in Detroit, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

This marks the first stadium tour for the band since the “Everything or Nothing at All” tour in 2023 and 2024.
