ERIE Co., Ohio (WTVG) - A 74-year-old man was killed and a 32-year-old woman was injured after a crash at the intersection of CR 205 and CR 312 Wednesday afternoon.

According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), a 32-year-old Bellevue resident was driving east on CR 205 around 3:45 p.m. The release said she failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by Steven Hay, 74.

Hay was taken to Bellevue Hospital with incapacitating injuries and was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.

The woman was taken to Firelands Hospital.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
