The Boston Red Sox have one Silver Slugger Award finalist for the 2025 season.
Alex Bregman was named Boston’s lone representative for the annual MLB award on Thursday morning. Bregman batted .273 with 18 home runs, 62 RBI, a .462 slugging percentage and .360 OBP in 114 games for the Red Sox.
Bregman won the American League Silver Slugger Award in 2019 when he was with the Houston Astros. In 156 games he batted .296 with a .592 slugging percentage, 41 home runs and 112 RBI.
The 2025 season was the third baseman’s first in a Red Sox uniform. He signed with Boston just ahead of spring training in February.
Bregman missed 43 games due to a right quad strain.
