Residents are in a flap over a town center being given a "boost" with new art of seagulls .
The large mural of the birds swooping to steal chips has been painted on a chip shop in Taunton, Somerset.
It is part of a project to bring "color and interest" to an independent area.
Local traders raised $6,500 to have the art installed by artist Sam Gaden from Aerosol Art.
Some locals love it and some don't.
