COLUMBUS, Ohio — When it comes to the speed of justice in Franklin County, the Granger family says they have heard it all.
"[In] 2020, [there was] COVID. They were backlogged, which is understandable," said Angela Granger.
And while they understand that murder trials don't happen overnight, what they don't understand is why the trial for German Sanchez Jr., who is accused of killing their son, has taken five years to get off the ground.
"I just feel like at some point within a case, I don't know how, [someone] powerful like the judge, someone should say, 'OK, enough is enough. This needs to be done. It needs to be over,'" Angela said.
