Actor Arshad Warsi, known for unfiltered opinions, has shared a candid take on the state of Hindi cinema today. Speaking about how Bollywood has become overly cautious in its choices, Warsi said that filmmakers have “stopped taking risks,” and that’s one of the key reasons behind the lack of good scripts and films.

Speaking exclusively with India Today, Arshad spoke about how it’s still difficult to get good scripts. “It’s got nothing to do with me. Let’s look at how many movies we’re making and how many are actually doing well — the math is clear,” he said.

The actor further said, “If we were really coming out with great scripts, we’d have so many hits. Unfortunately, we don’t. We barely have a few hits, and everyone is still searching for that great script.”
