In a shocking development, the Commissionerate Police raided Jagnaseni Niwas, a residential building in the Laxmi Sagar area of Bhubaneswar, uncovering a sex racket operation.

According to reports, a minor girl was recently rescued from the roadside in the capital city in a near-death condition. She was immediately admitted to the hospital, where blood tests confirmed she is HIV positive.

The minor, hailing from Jharkhand, revealed in her recorded statement that she was kidnapped from her home by miscreants and abandoned in Bhubaneswar. Since then, she had been living in the residence and forced to work as a sex worker. Police are now intensifying their investigation to identify customers who had physical relations with her. Authorities plan to trace their addresses and mandate HIV tests
