ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A Lyft driver arrested Wednesday in Orange County is accused of shooting a man during an altercation involving a slammed car door, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded to the 7300 block of Spring Villas and found the victim and his brother on the front porch of a home, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in the accused shooter’s arrest affidavit.
The victim was lying on the ground and was later determined to have been shot in the abdomen and in the foot, the affidavit states, adding the accused shooter — Rolando Rivera-Casillas, 33, of Melbourne — was found standing at the back of an SUV with his hands on the vehicle and what appeared to be a firearm on the hood.
