Donations topped $270,000 Thursday for the family of a pastor and father of four who was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle as he rode a bicycle on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach.

Two other bicyclists were hospitalized after being seriously in the crash around 6:45 a.m. Monday on PCH near Newland Street.

Eric Williams, 45, of Garden Grove died at the scene after being struck by a Mercedes-Benz sedan driven by a 43-year-old woman.

Amber Kristine Calderon was charged Wednesday with a count of hit-and-run with permanent and serious injury and two counts of failing to stop at a hit-and-run collision with injury or death, all felonies. She did not enter a plea at her arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana Wednesday, and the hearing was rescheduled for Nov. 13 in the W
