ALAMOSA, Colo. (KKTV) - A man is facing felony charges after police found illegal drugs and several guns in Alamosa.

According to the Alamosa Police Department (APD), officers executed a search warrant Tuesday at the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue.

Police said they discovered thousands of M30 fentanyl pills, fentanyl powder, suspected methamphetamines, drug distribution paraphernalia, a large amount of money and three firearms during the search.

Officers collected all of the items for further investigation.

A traffic stop in the 800 block of Ross Avenue later that evening led to the arrest of Nicholas Midgley, 41. Police said a probable cause search of his vehicle revealed over 1,500 fentanyl pills, money, a 9mm handgun and suspected powdered fentanyl.
