WILMOT, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in southeast Wisconsin are investigating after a third party reported a possible threat toward a high school.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 22, 2025, deputies investigated a third-party claim of a threat involving a 17-year-old student at Wilmot High School.
After a thorough investigation, deputies determined no credible threat was made to the school, its students, or staff.
Out of an abundance of caution, additional deputies were assigned to Wilmot High School on Thursday and Friday.
“It is crucial to be vigilant and report any concerning behavior to the appropriate authorities,” Sheriff David Zoerner said in a statement. “Let’s continue working together to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in our community.”
