Synopsis : Yediyurappa has been booked under the POCSO Act and Section 354 A (Sexual harassment) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) based on a complaint by the mother of a 17-year-old girl who alleged that he molested her daughter during a meeting, at his residence in Dollars Colony in Bengaluru.
Karnataka High Court on Thursday, 23 October, while reserving its order on a petition filed by BS Yediyurappa and others seeking to quash the cognizance taken in the POCSO case against him, orally stated that detailed observations on factual aspects would be delivered on Saturday, 25 October.
Justice MI Arun after hearing arguments from both sides reserved the order.
Senior advocate CV Nagesh, appeared for Yediyurappa. Special Public Prosecutor B N Jagadish, represented the prosecution.
