Louisiana residents really, really want In-N-Out to open some famous burger shacks down the bayou.

The California-based fast food giant known for its "animal style" fries, double-double cheeseburger, Flying Dutchmen onion burger and milkshakes, was voted as the most desired chain in Louisiana in a recent survey by MarketBeat , a media company that specializes in providing real-time data and research analysis for stock investors.

In-N-Out has more than 420 locations in eight states , with the closest to Louisiana being in Texas. Most of their restaurants are in California.
